This is a number-placement puzzle game that mixes block-dropping (like Tetris) with maths strategy. You drag shaped pieces onto a grid, and your goal is to make numbers add up to a Target Sum.
Unlike regular block games, you don't just fill space โ you have to think about which numbers you're placing and where, so they can combine to hit the target.
The game is played on a 9ร9 grid (Classic mode). Each cell can hold one number block. The grid is divided into 3ร3 sections with subtle dividing lines โ these are just for visual reference.
Your aim is to fill cells strategically. The grid fills up over time โ if no shapes can fit anywhere, the game ends.
Five shapes appear at the bottom of the screen. Each shape is made of 1, 2, or 3 coloured blocks. Every block carries a number from 1 to 9.
Crucially, every block in the same shape has a different number โ so a 3-block shape might show 4, 7, and 2. You'll never see the same number twice in one shape.
Shapes come in many configurations โ straight lines, L-shapes, zigzags, V-shapes, diagonals and more. Use double-tap on a shape to rotate it 90ยฐ clockwise before placing.
Press and hold a shape to pick it up. The shape will lift and follow your finger across the screen.
As you drag over the grid, cells highlight in purple to show where the shape will land. If the position is blocked, cells turn red. The shape snaps to the exact cell under your finger โ specifically the block you grabbed.
Release your finger to drop the shape. If the drop is valid it stays; otherwise it returns to its slot. All 5 shapes must be used before a new batch appears โ you cannot skip shapes.
At the top of the screen you'll see the Target Sum. This is the magic number you're aiming for. It changes between 20 and 60 each round.
In Classic and Pro mode: fill an entire row or column whose numbers add up exactly to the target. The row/col will light up and vanish, clearing space and awarding bonus points.
If a full row or column doesn't match the target sum, it stays โ it won't clear. This is the key challenge: plan which numbers go where so a full line hits the target.
Kids mode works differently. You don't need to fill an entire row or column. Instead, any group of touching blocks that adds up to the target will vanish!
Blocks can be touching up, down, left, right โ in an L-shape, a square of 4, a zigzag, or any connected shape. As soon as the group's total equals the target, they all clear instantly.
For example, if the target is 10 and you have a 3 touching a 7, boom โ they're gone! No need to fill the whole row.
You earn points in two ways:
Placement score โ every time you place a shape, you earn the sum of all the numbers on that shape. A 3-block shape showing 4, 7, 2 gives you +13 immediately.
Target bonus โ when a row, column or group clears and matches the target:
Aim for higher target numbers and plan your shapes carefully โ the bonus multiplier makes target hits far more valuable than just placing shapes!
You start each game with 5 lives (3 in Pro mode). Lives let you use the two help buttons between the grid and the spawn area:
๐ฒ Swap Target โ costs 1 life. Generates a brand new target number if the current one seems impossible to hit.
๐๏ธ Clear Grid โ costs 2 lives. Wipes all placed blocks from the grid, giving you a fresh start. Use this when you're completely stuck.
Once all lives are spent, both buttons are greyed out permanently for that game โ but the game continues until no shapes can fit.
The game ends when none of the 5 waiting shapes can fit anywhere on the grid. The grid doesn't have to be full โ even one small gap can save you if a shape fits.
Your Best Score is saved permanently on your device. It never resets between games. Beat it to trigger the fanfare celebration!
Each mode has its own separate high score: Kids, Classic, and Pro all track independently.
Three modes, three experiences:
Plan around the target โ before placing, ask: which numbers in this row already exist? What do I need to reach the target? Place numbers that complement what's already there.
Rotate shapes โ double-tap before dragging. An L-shape rotated 90ยฐ can be the difference between fitting and not fitting.
Use single-blocks wisely โ a single-block piece is precious. It can plug a gap to complete a near-full row exactly at the target sum.
Don't block yourself โ avoid leaving lone isolated cells in the middle of the grid that no multi-block shape can reach.
Corner strategy โ filling corners first forces shapes into the middle where they're easier to connect into rows and columns.
Target flexibility โ if you've nearly filled a row but it won't hit the current target, use Swap Target (1 life) rather than Clear Grid (2 lives).
What are they? โ Occasionally a blank โป block will appear in your spawn tray. It looks like a single cell with a dashed border.
How to use them โ Drag a blank block onto any occupied cell to erase the number there. The cell returns to empty, ready for a new placement.
Rules โ Blank blocks can only be placed on cells that already contain a number. You cannot place them on empty cells.
No score โ Erasing a number scores 0 points, but can save you from a dead-end by clearing a badly placed number before it blocks future shapes.
Use them wisely โ They appear roughly 1-in-5 spawn cycles. Save them for numbers that are ruining a near-complete row or column.
