Free, in your browser — no AI, no account needed

Turn a photo into a real 3D model — without AI.

Upload a photo and the 3D Model Creator measures its silhouette directly — no neural network, no guessing. Spin a symmetric object (a vase, bottle, bowl or lamp) into a solid of revolution by measuring its width at every height, extrude any subject's outline into a flat printable shape, or sculpt it into a bulging bas-relief figurine. Preview it as a real, rotatable 3D model, then download the STL or 3MF straight into your slicer.

The 3D Model Creator

Upload a photo of a subject on a plain, fairly even background — the tool measures exactly where the subject is, pixel by pixel, using its own outline against that background. Nothing is sent to a server and nothing is AI-generated: every model comes directly from the shape you photographed.

ControlsUpload an image to begin
+ Click to upload, or drag an image here A straight-on side profile against a plain background works best — think a product photo of a vase, bottle or bowl, or a clean silhouette
Revolve measures the width of your subject at every height and spins that profile a full 360° into a solid of revolution — perfect for anything symmetric around a vertical axis.
A visual finishing guide for now — STL and 3MF can't carry a texture map, so this shows what to paint, dye, or use textured filament for. Pick one of ten built-in patterns or upload your own.
Raise this if the background is being picked up as part of the subject; lower it if parts of the subject are being cut away.
Higher smoothing irons out pixel noise in the outline for a cleaner ceramic-style profile; lower keeps every bump from the original photo.
How Revolve works — the tool finds your subject's left and right edge in every row of the photo, turns that into a radius profile from base to rim, and revolves it 360° with THREE.js to build a solid of revolution. It exports solid — use your slicer's shell/infill settings to hollow it out for printing, just like you would for any vase-mode model.

3D print notes — the model is centred on the origin in millimetres, ready to drop straight into Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer or Cura — just use "place on bed" if your slicer doesn't do it automatically. All three modes export a solid model; use your slicer's normal shell/infill settings to control wall thickness and weight. Figurine stands upright on the character's own footprint by default — if that base looks narrow, lay it flat in your slicer instead (bulge facing up) for a rock-solid, support-free print.
02 / PROCESS

From photo to solid model

Four steps, all running locally in your browser — no AI model, nothing uploaded anywhere.

01

Upload a photo

A subject photographed against a plain, fairly even background traces the cleanest — a product shot works great.

02

Choose a mode

Revolve measures width-per-row and spins a profile into a solid of revolution. Silhouette extrudes the outline into a flat printable shape. Figurine bulges that same outline into a dimensional bas-relief.

03

Preview the model

A real, rotatable 3D preview shows exactly what will be exported — drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, or jump to a preset view.

04

Download & print

Grab the STL or the colour-labelled 3MF, already sized in millimetres and centred on the origin — drop it straight into your slicer.
