How this works — your photo's brightness at every point becomes carved depth — bright areas stand proud, dark areas recess (or the reverse, if you tick the box above) — the same classical technique used for portrait medallions and coins long before any of this was done with AI. It reads best viewed from a slight angle under a raking light, exactly like a real carved relief.

Honest about this one — this builds a stock posable figure procedurally (no scanned geometry of the actual person) sized and coloured how you like, plus a separate circular photo decal cut from your crop above. STL and 3MF can't carry a photo texture, so print the figure, then glue, UV-print, or hand-paint the decal onto the face — the same trick real custom-bobblehead makers have always used.

How this works — this is a classical technique called shape-from-silhouette (or "visual hull") — the tool carves a 3D block down to whatever shape is consistent with every photo's outline, the same way you'd whittle a shape down looking at it from every side. It's genuine, real 3D geometry from your real photos, no AI involved — but it can't see concave detail a silhouette hides, like the inside of an ear or the gap between an arm and the body, so results are soft and simplified rather than sharp. More evenly-spaced photos against a plainer background give a cleaner result.
